4 Ways We Can Become Best Friends

One of the ways I feel most validated in what I do is when a past client refers to me as "more than a photographer", but a new best friend. Because that's exactly how I feel about them! I value my relationships with my clients more than anything and I love meeting new people because you never know where you will find your new best friend.

If you're reading this, there is a very good chance that you are a human being, and if that's the case, I'd like to get to know you! In case the feeling is mutual, I'd like to share some of the best ways you can get in touch with me or follow along with my work and stay up-to-date on everything happening in my life.

1. Follow me on Instagram.

My Instagram is kind of my home-base and the best portfolio I have. I love to share photos that have a lot of movement and significance, as you'll see in my feed. I also share a lot of behind-the-scenes info in my Stories which is something I feel adds both transparency and value to my business. It also helps me feel connected and engaged with my following, and I love being able to put my real life moments up there so you know just what you're getting into with me as a buddy!

2. Join one of my Facebook groups.

I have two Facebook groups/pages. One is just my main Calli Richards Photography Facebook page where I post images from recent sessions, link to blog posts, and share wedding-related tips for my brides. This page is a great resource if you're planning or wedding or just want to stay up-to-date with blog posts without subscribing to the website. Just subscribe to the Facebook page!

The other resource I offer on Facebook is my RAW Photography Community group for fellow photographers. The purpose of this group is to foster community over competition and provide a space for photographers to learn from each other and engage with others in their industry. This group is kind of my baby because I love teaching and sharing my tips and tricks to help other photographers save time and effort growing their individual businesses. Why waste time and money doing things that won't work when I can just share with you the things that worked for me? I aim to offer a lot of value in this group, and if you're a fellow photographer (or if you know one!) I'd love to have you join us there!

3. Check out my Pinterest boards.

My third tip for anyone seeking a way to add more Calli into their life is to follow me on Pinterest and check out all my boards! I've spent lots of time curating helpful ideas and tips for wedding planning but also for family photo shoots, senior pictures, and other photography sessions. I want my Pinterest boards to be a great resource for anyone planning a wedding or photo shoot. I also share a lot more of my photos from recent sessions there, so if you want to stay up-to-date on those, following me on Pinterest is a great option.

4. Book a session with me.

My last piece of advice for those looking to get to know me better is pretty obvious. Book a session with me! I'd love to get to know you, and I promise we'll have so much fun. Get in touch with me if you'd like to learn more about my photography style or what to expect from a shoot. I can't wait to meet you and get to know you better!
